ENTHRONED MADONNA WITH THE CHILD CHRIST Swabia, around 1460/70 Limewood, carved in relief, polychrome painted and gilded, flattened and hollowed on the reverse. H. 72, w. 42, d. 22 cm. Partly chipped and damaged, rest, losses to frame, anobia on verso. Expertise: Ulf Härtl, Hemhofen, 14 September 1983 and Dr. Bräutigam (Germanisches Nationalmuseum Nuremberg). Provenance: Kunsthandel Härtl, Bamberg.
